Richard Stallman

Richard Stallman, president and founder of the Free Software Foundation, is the speaker at 4:15-5:30 p.m., Stamps Auditorium. He was considered to be instrumental in launching the free software movement in the 1980s and was the instigator of the development of the GNU operating system, which is the core for many Linux builds in use today.
