Carol J. Evert's vibrant watercolor paintings depict suspended moments of beauty and grace within our often frenetic world. Bold florals and organic elements are juxtaposed with shiny, man-made objects and repeating patterns of light and shadow to engage the viewer in a world that shifts between the two- and three-dimensional. Evert received a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and continued her education there as a graduate student in watercolor. In addition to widely exhibiting her artwork, Evert is the leader of the Saline Painters Guild and a member of Ann Arbor Women Artists, Michigan Water Color Society, Ann Arbor Arts Alliance, and Cake Eaters of 212 Arts Center.
