NASPA, in partnership with the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good (National Forum) at the University of Michigan, invites you to participate in our free webinar covering the complex set of federal policies that impact higher education policy and practice in support of undocumented students. This webinar stems from the National Forum’s commitment to significantly increase awareness, understanding, commitment, and action relative to the public service role of higher education in the United States, and advances NASPA's historic support of undocumented students and the Association's public policy agenda.

A panel of three presenters will address the fluid policy context facing institutions and student affairs professionals serving undocumented students, with a central focus on the political, legal and practical implications of the Department of Homeland Security’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Process (DACA), the DREAM Act provisions of the pending immigration bill, and insight regarding other pending policy actions. Join NASPA, the National Forum, and our esteemed panelists in an interactive and informative webinar regarding these critical policies.

Immediately following the webinar, attendees are invited to join a facilitated discussion about the implications of the recent tuition equity vote for the UM campus. We'll also discuss the application of the material presented in the webinar for serving students on our campus.
