Musician, singer and songwriter, Andy has maintained his highly individual performing skills throughout his 45-year career. From Sweeney's Men in the mid-1960s, to the enormous success of Planxty in the 1970s and then from the band Patrick Street up to the present day, Andy has been both a legend and a pioneer in both the Celtic and world music scenes. Tonight Andy is joined by left-handed string player Dónal Lunny, his partner in the unique Celtic–world music fusion band Mozaik. Join us for a rarely-seen-in-this-country show that draws on deep Irish roots yet shows Celtic music as a vital and ever-evolving art.
