“Just This, Nothing More: Meditation Practice and the Art of Improvisation”
Mark Miller, professor and chair of the music program; and associate dean for undergraduate education, School of the Arts- Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, will explore the many parallels (and differences) between meditation and the art of improvisation, and will describe practices that are practical and available to everyone.
This event is open to all U-M affiliates, community scholars, and the general public.
