This program features SMTD’s Roshanne Etezady’s work Feast or Famine for marimba and percussion ensemble. Joshua Roach will conduct and senior David Newton will be our soloist. David Lang's ‘Cheating Lying Stealing' for mixed chamber ensemble is also on this exciting program of very recent works. DMA student Shane Jones coaches two duo works and the program will round itself out with a focus on duos for percussion. The Percussion Ensemble will continue their look at 'post-minimalist' works on what will prove to be an exciting and globally influenced program.
