Magnificent China Exhibition Highlights Natural Wonders
Kick off the New Year with the latest Monts Hall exhibition, “Magnificent China: A Photography Exhibition,” January 15 – February 20.
Featuring breathtaking landscapes and cultural scenes captured by photographer Xu Zengquan, "Magnificent China" highlights the numerous natural wonders of the eastern world.
An electrical engineer from Dexter, Michigan, Zengquan has a unique perspective to the world of photography. “When I take pictures, I feel as if I could look through a window of limitless space and time. I feel a spiritual kinship with nature’s beauty and splendor," he says. A number of Zengquan’s photos have been exhibited by the Confucius Institute at the University of Michigan and were once requested for use by the Smithsonian Free Gallery of Art.
The gallery is open to the public Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, including complimentary parking and admission.
