The YAC (Young Artist Competition) is sponsored by the Ann Arbor Society for Musical Arts (SMA) for SMTD students. The purpose is to encourage and promote young musicians in the area. The winner(s) will perform on the Fall series of the Wednesday Morning Musicales and also receive a cash award. The instruments are rotated, and 2016 is the year of brass, winds, and percussion.
