Gary and Judy Olson Public Symposium on HCI
Gary Olson and Judy Olson will be guests of honor at a public symposium paying tribute to their pioneering work in the fields of human-computer interaction and computer supported cooperative work.
They are both faculty emeriti of the School of Information; Gary Olson also served as interim dean of the school from 1998 to 1999. The Olsons left UMSI in 2008 to take up Donald Bren professorships at the University of California, Irvine, but continued to be involved with UMSI.
