This two-day Open Science hackaton brings together researchers, coders, librarians and the public from around the globe to hack on open science and open data projects in their communities. This year there are four tracks anyone can contribute to: Tools, Citizen Science, Open Educational Resources and Open Data.
Registration is encouraged but not required (https://ti.to/mozilla-science/gs2016-ann-arbor). Show up when you want and work on what interests you for as long as you like! (Need inspiration? Check out this list of projects. https://www.mozillascience.org/collaborate)
Now in its third year, the Mozilla Science Lab Global Sprint (https://www.mozillascience.org/global-sprint-2016) will be held at about 30 locations around the world. We hope you'll join us in the Duderstadt Center on June 2nd and 3rd (drinks and lunch provided), but you can also participate virtually (https://ti.to/mozilla-science/gs2016-virtual).
Mozilla Science Lab is a community of researchers, developers, and librarians making research open and accessible and empowering open science leaders through fellowships, mentorship, and project-based learning.
Hosted by the University of Michigan Library (Art, Architecture & Engineering Library and the Science Library).
