An algorithm to compute the distribution of points on hyperelliptic curves over finite fields
We discuss a computational approach to the distribution of points on hyperelliptic curves over finite fields. This is a computational refinement of a result of Kurlberg and Rudnick, and it is joint with Jiwoo Park, a high-school student in South Korea.
