Abstract: User Experience Research affects many aspects of product development at Newell Brands. Learn about how we perform research on a wide range of products, from ideation to tooling, and how that research impacts the final design.
Bio: Monica Lichty is currently a Manager of User Experience Research at the Newell Brands Design Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She graduated with Bachelors and Masters degrees in IOE from the University of Michigan. After spending a few years doing transportation safety research in Seattle, she found her perfect fit in product design research. She currently works with cross-functional teams to define the user experience on products from over a dozen brands including: Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Contigo, and Coleman.
