Ross Chambers, Marvin Felheim Distinguished University Professor of French and Comparative Literature, Emeritus, was a renowned and prolific scholar of modern literature, and a much-loved teacher, mentor, and member of the University of Michigan faculty from 1975 until his retirement in 2002.
