End-of-Year Meeting about English Department Interest Groups
Lunch Discussion and Planning Meeting
Please join us for a lunch discussion about English Department-based RIWs (Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshops) and interest groups. We warmly welcome and encourage the attendance of all interested faculty, staff, and graduate students.
This meeting will have two parts. First, we hope to think together about the role of interest group and RIW programming in the intellectual life of the English department. What worked well this past year? What issues and questions should we consider collectively? We also want to give group coordinators a chance to announce confirmed guest speakers and to share preliminary plans for next year's events.
The second part of our conversation will be more geared towards the logistics of running a group and may be of most interest to group coordinators. Please do feel free to come and go as you would like.
To RSVP, please contact Hayley O'Malley (hayleyom@umich.edu) or Katie Hummel (hummel@umich.edu).
