Staging Unrest: Performance in times of crisis
A panel/presentation/discussion on the Department of Theatre & Drama co-production with the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts, Kraków, and Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw, Poland of Night and Day by Charles Mee.
This event aims to foster discussion around our common yet disparate experiences during times of political uncertainty and unrest while focusing on the role of the arts in engaging with social and political issues. Members of the panel include directors Malcolm Tulip and Dominika Knapik, designers Vince Mountain and Wolfgang Macher, and members of the American and Polish cast. The discussion will be moderated by Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures Studies Visiting Scholar Teresa Kovacs.
