Known for their original songwriting and energetic live performances, Mo Lowda & The Humble began in the beer-soaked basements of Philadelphia. Following the release of their first full-length, "Curse the Weather, the band started to hit the road. They've played shows throughout the country, including those at summer festivals such as Firefly. The band's 2016 sophomore release, "Act Accordingly," was a short and sweet embodiment of the band's natural progression, and they come to Michigan with a new release, "Creatures." Alabama songwriter Pierce Pettis, whom Performing Songwriter has called "one of the more vital and critically acclaimed folk stars of recent years," opens the show.
