DESCRIPTION:LSA TS Infrastructure will be performing standard maintenance on the LSA Linux and Windows servers and various network appliances. These servers and services may be temporarily unavailable between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm on Saturday\, July 15 and again between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm on Sunday\, July 16.\n\nWhat are we doing?\n\nWe're performing routine maintenance:\n\n• Applying software updates\n• Performing additional maintenance\n• Testing business continuity plans\n• Unracking decommissioned hardware\n\nWhat services will be impacted and for how long?\n\nThe following services will have intermittent outages between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Saturday\, July 15:\n\n• Bomgar screen-sharing\n• Crestron Virtual Control Server\n• DRRS applications\n• Distributed File System (DFS) links using \\dfs.lsa.umich.edu-based paths\n• LSA server hosting and storage\n• MField Research and Data Hub\n• Math departmental servers\n• Michigan Flora site \n• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)\n• Museums collections services (CA\, IPT\, and Specify)\n• OpenShift-based services\n• SharePoint services for the college and university\n• SQL databases and reporting services\n• SumoLogic log collecting\n• TeachTech\n• Unit Websites (AEM)\, but not the editing functions or the LSA Gateway\n• Web Hosting Environment (WHE)\n• WebCheckout (for LSA\, CAI\, SOE\, and Stamps)\n• Windows Lifecycle Management System (WLMS)\n• Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH)\n• WordPress for Payments\n\nThe following services may have extended outages between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm Sunday\, July 16:\n• LSA server hosting and storage\n• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)\n• SharePoint services for the college and university\n• SQL databases and reporting services\n\nIf you have any questions about this maintenance activity\, contact the LSA TS Service Desk (734.615.0100 x2) for assistance.
