A variety of topics are covered in an array of learning modalities: LGBTQ and Ally development, definitions and terms, resources and referrals, case studies and more. The curriculum also incorporates with mixed media presentations and interactive role plays. Participants and trainers approach the sensitive topic of LGBTQ life by creating a safe space for dialogue, while challenging pre-conceived notions. The learning environment is active and the conversations are genuine. The LGBTQ Ally Training Program is open to all members of the community regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.
