Kaplan earned her BFA in Studio Art & History from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and her MFA in Printmaking from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She is represented by WSG gallery in Ann Arbor, where she is an active partner and has exhibited her work continuously since 2005.
