If you are thinking about starting an organization or just started one, this training is for you.\r\n \r\nCore Training (VSO, SSO and New Orgs): This session focuses on what it means to be an organization on campus including your rights and responsibilities as well as policies and procedures that you will come in contact with on a daily basis for your organization.\r\n\r\nSponsored Student Organization Training: SSO's this session will give you more information on your additional responsibilities as a sponsored student organization. She has returned to a technique that she learned years ago as an exchange student in Peru - thinning and shaping porcelain using a wooden paddle and river stone. Tremel finds the challenge of piercing the thin walls of the clay at their most fragile state to be an exercise in understanding the fleeting tenuousness of beauty itself. This talk, concentrating primarily on the case of India, examines the bureaucratic, strategic, and intellectual challenges posed for the Qing state by the expansion of its rivals. In particular, it considers how a government that had been accustomed to managing a diverse and fragmented borderland adapted to the fact that the activities of other empires, evident across widely separated and non-contiguous regions, formed part of an increasingly integrated web of imperial competition.\r\n \r\nMatthew W. Mosca received his PhD in History and East Asian Languages from Harvard University in 2008. He is currently assistant professor in the Lyon G. Tyler Department of History at the College of William and Mary.
