He purchased his first camera in 1942 and, in 1958, spawned a lifelong passion for documentary photography when he collaborated with a music professor to document music at churches. Rogovin began to photograph coal miners from across the world in 1962. His pioneering design pieces for Willisau Jazz Festival have been benchmarks in the field of graphic and poster design for about forty-five years and are now in important museum collections such as the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Museum of Modern Art Toyama, Museum for Art and Industry Hamburg, the German Poster Museum in Essen and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.\n\nTroxler\u2019s work centers on the enrichment of the human experience and quality solutions to visual communication design. Troxler continually seeks to better the means of human communication by teaching and designing for the modern world. Before her election to the Court in November 2012, she was a law professor and dean at the University of Michigan Law School. Judge Levy, Michigan Law Class of '96, is a federal judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She was nominated for the position by President Barack Obama on July 25, 2013, and the U.S. Senate confirmed her nomination on March 12, 2014. Professor Primus teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, and habeas corpus, and writes about structural reform in the criminal justice system.
