Nudging is a soft paternalistic approach intended to support users in making more beneficial decisions. \r\n\r\nNudges can be used to raise smartphone users' awareness of the data collected by their apps. Findings of a field study with Android users show that daily privacy nudges not only increase awareness about sensitive data access by apps but also effectively motivate users to switch away from their prior activity to engage in privacy management. Privacy nudges can further be leveraged to elicit privacy preferences with the goal of creating personalized privacy decision support tools. Additional field studies showed that personalized recommendations for permission settings are largely accepted by participants and are perceived as useful and usable. The recent interest in the transverse structure of the nucleon has largely been motivated by the novel phenomenological consequences that have been predicted for transverse-momentum-dependent nonperturbative functions. Contrary to the collinear framework, certain transverse-momentum-dependent PDFs are predicted to be process dependent. Additionally, factorization breaking has been predicted in hadronic collisions where a final-state hadron is measured and the observable is sensitive to nonperturbative transverse momentum. This prediction has the interesting quantum mechanical consequence that partons are correlated with each other across the bound state hadrons, rather than being identified with individual PDFs and FFs. She is a former Trans Correspondent for The Advocate and Contributing Editor for Autostraddle, and her work has also appeared in Vice, Mic, Bustle, Salon, Everyday Feminism and more. \r\n\r\nAs a first-year PhD student, LaVelle Ridley has been identifying as trans for a little over a year. In her undergrad, she was heavily involved in campus LGBTQIA community affairs, especially for queer students of color. At present, her research focuses on contemporary African American literature with a focus on black queer fiction and narratives of resistance by trans women and gender non-conforming people of color.\r\n\r\nVidhya Aravind is a first year Master's student at the University of Michigan School of Information. Her academic interests are in online safety of marginalized people and the facilitation of online space creation for small queer and trans communities.
