Galbreath has chaperoned eleven intensive, immersive art experiences to Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Lynn is a retired Adjunct Associate Professor of Studio Art from Oakland University, where she has been on the faculty of the Department of Art & Art History since 2000. Lynn has also instructed studio art and design at the College For Creative Studies, University of Detroit Mercy \u2014 School of Architecture, Macomb Community College, Wayne State University, and Bloomfield University School. Her work can be seen in the collections of Oakland University, Wayne State University, Detroit Receiving Hospital, Children\u2019s Hospital of Michigan, Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital and numerous private collections.\r\n\r\nThis exhibition consists of works from a variety of series created by Galbreath over the years: Telegraph, Storyboard, and Working Hard for a Living. By offering portraits of minorities and their stories, Nunez-Regueiro\u2019s goal is to create supportive communities for those who need to feel rooted in their geographical space and their present time. \n\nN\u00fa\u00f1ez-Regueiro work is closely related to her experiences of living abroad \u2014 the impermanence, the precarious construction of one's present and even less of one\u2019s future. Amazingly, when helium atoms are dissolved in sea spray proxies, they evaporate at super-Maxwellian speeds that vary sensitively with the identity of the salts and surfactants in solution. The excess helium kinetic energies teach us about the interfacial morphologies of surfactant-salt-water solutions, which we can explain using two beautiful chemical concepts: the principle of detailed balance and potentials of mean force. We can use what we have learned to discuss how charged surfactants can significantly alter the outcome of reactions in sea spray because they control the segregation of reactive ions to the surface.
