During the two-year Fellowship\, our Fellows are salaried\, full-time employees at startups\, VCs or high-growth companies in one of our 13 cities.\n\nThrough the program\, Fellows find lifelong friends\, an entrepreneurial community\, and a network of individuals to help take their career and ambitions to the next level. We’ll walk you through our mission\, how Fellows find their job\, commonroles and industries available to Fellows\, plus the programming\, community\, and resources. We'll close out with a Q&A with our panelist. \n\nVenture For America Fellows work in a range of roles and industries. In this event\, we'll highlight one of our most popular industries for Fellows\, which is Venture Capital. Venture capital (VC) is a form of private equity and a type of financing that investors provide to startup companies and small businesses that are believed to have long-term growth potential. Venture capital generally comes from investors\, investment banks\, and other financial institutions. Roles at VCs vary widely\, and this event will showyou the day in a life of a VFA Fellow in VC.\n\nTo apply to Venture For America's 2024 Fellowship class you must be a U.S. citizen\, permanent resident or DACA recipient and a rising senior\, or graduated from undergrad in the last three years.\n
