He is responsible for the company’s medium-to-long term enterprise-wide strategy\, running the company’s long-range planning process and ensuring alignment between the enterprise\, business unit\, and M&A strategies.\n\nPrior to joining American Express\, Alex was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with deep experience in payments. He led Payments and Transaction Banking for North America and was part of BCG’s global payments management team.
