SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:IOE 101: Patrick Mulrooney
DESCRIPTION:Presenter Bio:\nI am a 1982 graduate of North Farmington High School. I started at U of M in 1982 in the Computer Science program on North Campus. For personal reasons I transferred to U of M – Dearborn in 1983 and in 1984 I changed to IOE (I&MSE at Dearborn). I received both a BS in Computer Science and BSE in Industrial Engineering in 1988. I worked for CBS Fox Video from 1984-1986\, Parke Davis Pharmaceuticals from 1986-1988\, United Technologies Automotive from 1988-1990\, Production Modeling Corporation from 1990-1992\, then Ford Motor Company from 1992-2000 when the Visteon spin-off happened\, in 2005 I was pulled back in to Ford as part of Automotive Components Holdings (ACH) and ultimately sold/transferred to Neapco in 2007 where I remain today. I have had essentially the same job in Drivelines for 23 years\, all that changed was the name on the check and the location I reported to.\n\nShort Description:\n Managing priorities to make career decisions that make you happy and satisfied. How I managed my career and made decisions that were best for me and my family\, and suggestions and recommendations to help new engineers with similar decisions.
