DESCRIPTION:Grad School 101 invites you to attend our inaugural Affinity Community Resource Week!\nThe University has so much to offer you! We want to make sure that you know about some of the resources that are available.\nOur Affinity Community Resource Week offers a week’s worth of panels devoted to resources here at the University of Michigan that exist for some of our affinity communities in Rackham. Each day\, we will focus on a resource or resources related to a different affinity group within the Rackham community. The featured panelists will be individuals who work in the departments/organizations where this resource can be accessed.\nDuring the first part of our event\, the panelists will provide general information about the resource at hand. The second part of the event will be dedicated to a Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask the panelists specific questions you may have.\n\nStudent Parents and Caregivers—Physical and Financial Resources from CEW+\, Financial Aid Office\, Rackham\, and Children’s Centers\nThis resource panel will focus on the physical and financial resources provided by numerous offices at the University of Michigan. A representative from CEW+ will provide information about resources at CEW+ and across campus for student parents and caregivers. A representative from the Financial Aid Office will provide information on the child care subsidy offered by the university. A representative from Rackham will provide information about Rackham’s graduate student emergency funding\, and a representative from the Children’s Centers will provide information on U-M’s childcare tuition grant.\nRegistration is required at https://myumi.ch/w74jX.\nWe want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events.
