DESCRIPTION:During this session\, you’ll learn how your role fits within\nthe larger U‑M’s clinical research enterprise and why clinical research\nprofessionals are essential to high-quality\, ethical research. You’ll have\nopportunities to build knowledge\, ask questions\, and reflect on how\ncommunication—within your team\, with participants\, and especially during\ninformed consent—supports both participants and research teams. Through discussion\nand interactive activities\, you will explore the U-M research landscape\, learn\nabout resources\, and connect with your peers.Who this is for:\n\nThis orientation is intended for individuals newly hired into a clinical\nresearch role at U-M. \n\n*If you are unable to get into this session\, please note\nthat there will be future sessions that have not yet been scheduled.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*Our aim is to provide an outstanding experience for all\nattendees.
