DESCRIPTION:We often study the ancient world as if each culture were completely separate\, focusing on ancient Egypt\, Cyprus\, Rome\, Mesopotamia\, and Greece in isolation. In this tour\, we’ll look at the connections between these Mediterranean cultures resulting from such factors as trade\, migration\, and conquest. We’ll look at artifacts found in places we might not expect to find them\, as well as evidence of the blending of cultures and traditions.\n\nThis event is free and open to all visitors.
