DESCRIPTION:Westphal has served on the faculty since 2004. A Broadway music director\, conductor and keyboard player\, her Broadway credits include The Lion King\, A Christmas Story\, Miss Saigon and The Gershwins’ Fascinating Rhythm. During a 2018–19 sabbatical\, she directed the music for the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Come From Away. She also conducted the national tour of A Christmas Story\, toured as pianist with Andrea Bocelli\, and has performed as a keyboardist on over a dozen Broadway national tours. Westphal has also developed new musicals with Glenn Frey of The Eagles and Graham Russell of Air Supply.
