DESCRIPTION:Title and abstract TBD. \n\nBio: Shingo Kajimura was a graduate student in Cunming Duan's lab studying environmental adaptation\, particularly how zebrafish embryos adapt to low-oxygen conditions. He continued this passion for environmental adaptation by focusing on how animals adapt to cold temperatures through brown fat thermogenesis. He is now a professor at Harvard\, BIDMC\, and HHMI. Dr. Kajimura is an AAAS Fellow and earned The Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from the White House\, The Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award from American Diabetes Association\, and Montrone-Seigel Prize in Biomedical Sciences.
