SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:The rise and ramifications of Artificial Mathematical Intelligence
DESCRIPTION:Three years ago\, I started tracking the mathematical capabilities of AI. In 2026 alone\, AI went from solving its first real research problems\, to solving a Millennium problem. I will briefly survey how modern AI systems are trained and operated\, and then discuss my own takeaways from watching this saga unfold. Finally\, I will bring up some proposals for how the mathematics community should adapt to AI.
