Intercultural Responsiveness Workshop

An educational workshop dedicated exclusively to LSA Staff

Come and learn about how our unconscious biases affect how we communicate. There are many different work and communication styles, and we’ll all be more successful if we understand how to effectively interact with people whose styles differ from our own.

What is the benefit of attending?
* Be made aware of how our unconscious biases affect how we communicate
* Understand and appreciate different work and communication styles
* Learn how national, organizational, and individual cultural values and beliefs influence personal behaviors and attitudes
* Engage in candid discussion about taboo topics and about diversity, equity, and inclusion in today’s society
* Participate in activities and dialogue to raise your intercultural awareness!

If you have any questions or if accommodations are needed to access the facility or the content of the presentation, please contact Jessica McCuaig (jmccuaig@umich.edu) as soon as possible.

Please note: This session requires a minimum of 12 participants. If fewer than 12 people have registered the day before the session is scheduled, the session will be cancelled. We will send out notice of cancellation 24 hours in advance. We will let you know when another session on the same topic has been scheduled.
