Another introduction to Shtuka

Shtuka is an object that Drinfeld constructed to prove the GL2 case of Langlands over function field. Last year, I gave a talk on what a shtuka is, and I hope to add something new this time. The main goal of this talk will be constructing shtukas from Drinfeld modules, focusing on the rank 1 case. I would like to assume as few as possible and give as much details as needed. We will recall / give the definition of shtuka and Drinfeld module, and make use of some basic statement in cohomology theory. Speaker(s): Angus Chung (University of Michigan)
