DESCRIPTION:LSA Technology Services will be performing standard IT maintenance on the LSA Linux and Windows servers and various network appliances. These servers and services may be temporarily unavailable starting at 4:00 am on Saturday\, February 27. All services are expected to be restored by 6:00 pm\, Saturday\, February 27.\n\nWhat are we doing?\n\nWe're performing routine maintenance:\n\n• Applying software updates\n• Performing additional maintenance\n• Testing business continuity plans\n\nWhat services will be impacted and for how long?\n\nThe following services will have intermittent outages of 15 minutes or fewer between 4:00 am and 6:00 am Saturday\, February 27\, for bimonthly operating system patching:\n\n • Classroom database\n • Faculty\, Lab\, and Research Websites (FLR)\n • Museums collections services (CA\, IPT\, and Specify)\n • Web Hosting Environment (WHE)\n • WordPress for Instructors & Students (I&S)\n\nThe following services will have intermittent outages between 7:00 am and 6pm Saturday\, February 27:\n\n • Bomgar screen-sharing\n • Citrix Digital Workspace\n • Distributed File System (DFS) links using \\dfs.lsa.umich.edu-based paths\n • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)\n • Museums collections services (CA\, FileMaker\, IPT\, and Specify)\n • OpenShift-based services\n • SharePoint services for the college and university\n • Unit Websites (AEM)\, but not the editing functions or the LSA Gateway\n • Windows Lifecycle Management System (WLMS)\n • Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH)\n\nIf you have any questions about this maintenance activity\, contact the LSA TS Service Desk (734.615.0100 x2) for assistance.
