SUMMARY:Exhibition:25th Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners is one of the largest exhibitions of art by incarcerated artists in the country. Each year\, faculty\, staff and students from the University of Michigan travel to correctional facilities across Michigan and select work for the exhibition while providing feedback and critique that strengthens artist’s work and builds community around art making inside prisons.\n\nThe pandemic halted the 25th Annual Exhibition days before it was scheduled to open in March 2020. PCAP is excited to bring you the 2020 show in a new digital gallery. Visit https://myumi.ch/kxZ1D for a link to the exhibit and a full calendar of online events.\n\nArtwork sales appointments will be available March 17–March 31\, 2021. Visitors can book sales appointments on the exhibit website. Sales will be made by phone\, and all artwork will be shipped to customers. Artists set their own prices and receive 100% of net sales revenue.\n\nThis exhibit and events are presented with support from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs\, Om of Medicine\, and hundreds of individual donors.
