Sea Monsters

Stunning photo-realistic CGA transports audiences back to the Late Cretaceous, when a great inland sea divided North America in two. The film follows a curious and adventurous dolichorhynchops – familiarly known as a ‘dolly’ – as she travels through the most dangerous oceans in history. Along the way, she encounters long-necked plesiosaurs, giant turtles, enormous fish, fierce sharks, and one of the most dangerous sea monsters of all, the mosasaur. Finishes with an abbreviated star talk.

The new Planetarium & Dome Theater has comfortable seating for 57 visitors and space for up to 9 wheelchairs, easy-access seats, and a limited number of hearing assistance devices. Tickets $8. Tickets available on the day of the show.

As with all University of Michigan buildings, masks and health screenings are required.
