Thayer, at the standard charge of $10\/vehicle.\n\nLonnie G. Bunch III is the 14th Secretary of the Smithsonian. He assumed his position June 16, 2019. As Secretary, he oversees 21 museums, 21 libraries, the National Zoo, numerous research centers, and several education units and centers. Two new museums\u2014the National Museum of the American Latino and the Smithsonian American Women\u2019s History Museum\u2014are in development. Bunch was the founding director of the Smithsonian\u2019s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Bunch chronicled the creation of the museum in his book, *A Fool\u2019s Errand: Creating the National Museum of African American History and Culture in the Age of Bush, Obama, and Trump*, and is the first historian to be Secretary of the Institution. Since 2024, Bunch has been Honorary Professor of Practice at Queen\u2019s University Belfast. A member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, Bunch received France\u2019s highest award, The Legion of Honor, in 2021.\n\nLynette Clemetson is Director of Wallace House Center for Journalists, home of the Knight-Wallace Fellowships for Journalists and the Livingston Awards for Young Journalists at the University of Michigan. She came to the university from NPR where she was Senior Director of Strategy and Content Initiatives, developing and guiding projects across broadcast, digital and events to develop new audiences. Her career in journalism spans newspapers, magazines and audio across a range of platforms. As a reporter, she was a Washington-based correspondent for *The New York Times *and *Newsweek*, writing about politics, social issues and demographic change. Prior to her domestic correspondent work, she was an international correspondent for *Newsweek *based in Hong Kong, where she covered the former British colony\u2019s return to Chinese rule in 1997. A graduate of Stanford University's Symbolic Systems program, he took creative writing classes with Adam Johnson, ZZ Packer, and Elizabeth Tallent. After graduating, he published a handful of stories, one of which won an O. Henry Award, as he worked for a small Bay Area UX firm. He got accepted to the Iowa Writers' Workshop the same week he was laid off in 2010. \n\nAt Iowa he finished most of a draft of his debut novel *Private Citizens*, which was called \"the first great Millennial novel\" by *New York Magazine* after its publication in 2016, and received a Whiting Writers' Award. In 2017 he founded CRIT, an independent class he teaches out of his apartment in Brooklyn, whose alumni have gone on to publish 34 books to date. He has written for *The Paris Review, N+1, The New York Times, The New Republic, The Believer, Playboy, The Nation,* and others. \n\nTony's second book is a novel-in-stories, *Rejection*, published in 2024. *Rejection* has been translated into seven languages, and was nominated for the National Book Award, the Story Prize, and the Clark Prize, and received a Jack Galef Literary Arts award. She is the author of numerous books, including a cycle of novels about the city-state Ravicka and its inhabitants, the Ravickians, as well as three collections of drawings, *Prose Architectures* (2017), *One Long Black Sentence* (2020), and *Plans for Sentences* (2022). *Theory for Moving Houses*, a three-part essay on line, sentences, color, and consciousness, was published in 2026. Recent essays and\u00a0visual work\u00a0have appeared in *The Architectural Review*, POETRY, *The Paris Review*, *The Yale Review*, and *e-flux*, in addition to several artist monographs and exhibition catalogs. Since 2017, Gladman has exhibited her works on paper in galleries in the U.S. and across Europe. She has been awarded fellowships and artist residencies from the Menil Drawing Institute, Harvard Radcliffe Institute, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, among others, and received a Windham-Campbell prize in fiction in 2021. Seats are offered on a first come, first served basis; please arrive early to secure a spot.\n\n\nChelsea Bieker is the California Book Award winning author of three books, most recently the national bestselling novel, *Madwoman*, a Book of the Month club pick *the New York Times* calls \u201cbrilliant in its depiction of the long shadows cast by domestic violence.\u201d Named a best book of the year by NPR, Oprah, and Elle, *Madwoman* was a finalist for the WILLA Literary Award and was longlisted for the Aspen Words Prize. Her first novel, *Godshot*, was longlisted for The Center For Fiction\u2019s First Novel Prize and named a Barnes & Noble Pick of the Month. Her story collection, *Heartbroke* won the California Book Award and was a *New York Times* Best Book of the year. Her writing has been anthologized in *Notes to New Mothers*, and has appeared in *The Paris Review Daily, McSweeney\u2019s, Marie Claire UK, People, The Cut, Wall Street Journal, No Tokens*, and others. Their latest book is *Listen to the Golden Boomerang Return* (Wave Books \/ UK Penguin 2024). They received the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, a PEN award, a Creative Capital grant, a Pew Fellowship, and a Lambda Literary Award. *The Book of Frank* is available in 9 different languages, most recently French and Italian. They also exhibit poems as sculpture with recent shows in London, Hamburg, Melbourne, Porto, Santander, and Tucson.
