DESCRIPTION:On September 17\, join us at Michigan Stadium for Be Well in the Big House and celebrate the year of \"Human Health & Well-being\" with hundreds of your colleagues and friends! This event is open to U-M faculty and staff.\n\nGet moving on the field of the Big House: Register for on-field sessions including Football Skills and Thrills\, yoga\, and Zumba. All levels and abilities are welcome. Space is limited\, so register early. Registration is limited to one session per person (multiple registrations will be removed).\n\nThere's plenty to do off the field too! Registration is not required to take part in activities on and around the concourse from 3 – 6:15 p.m. Try out mini sessions of Cardio Drumming and Wheelchair Ultimate (in partnership with U-M Adaptive Sport & Fitness)\, talk with health and well-being experts\, visit the farmers market\, collaborate on a community art project (sponsored by Arts Rx)\, get a flu shot onsite\, drop off unused or expired medications (sponsored by the College of Pharmacy)\, bring a non-perishable food item for the Maize and Blue Cupboard and more!

DESCRIPTION:Join fellow staff\, students\, and faculty for an energizing break which will introduce the positive effects of being in nature on our social and emotional well-being. With facilitator guidance\, participants will:\n\n-Practice mindful attention and appreciation for the natural environment.\n-Learn how to refresh your energy and reduce stress by being outside.\n-Cultivate a sense of awe\, curiosity\, connection\, and wonder.\n-Learn how to use the Nature Rx resources in the Michigan App.\n\nTuesday\, September 29\n12-12:45 pm\nLocation: Meet at the grassy area just in front of the Biological Sciences Building/Museum of Natural History\, 1105 North University\, Ann Arbor (near the Central Campus Transit Center and the Ruthven Building).\n\nWe will learn how to appreciate nature in all its forms\, and this session will be held rain or shine. Please note that this session requires moving or walking outdoors over a distance of approximately a quarter-mile. Options will be provided for those who wish to sit or explore at their own pace and ability. Please wear comfortable attire and dress for the weather.
