SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Fellowship and Grant Writing
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide brainstorming and feedback time for fellowship and grant proposals.\n\nHow do you articulate your research for an audience who holds the purse strings? In this workshop\, we will review rhetorical considerations needed when developing a fellowship or grant proposal. SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:CRAFT LECTURE: Proleptic Form: Toward a Poetics of Self Defense
DESCRIPTION:Login here (no pre-registration needed): https://tinyurl.com/ZellWriters24\n\nSeats are limited and are offered on a first come\, first served basis\; please arrive early to secure a spot.\n\nZell Visiting Writers Series craft lectures are free and open to the public\, and will be offered both virtually (via Zoom) and in person (in The Robert Hayden Conference Room\, Angell Hall #3222). Please contact kimjulie@umich.edu with any questions or accommodation needs.\n\nOf her lecture\, \"Proleptic Form: Toward a Poetics of Self Defense\,\" Monica says\, \"In rhetoric\, prolepsis is the anticipation of possible counterarguments or objections in order to answer them in advance. It’s a defensive posture\, one that assumes in advance that the speaker will be criticized or attacked. So it seems appropriate that proleptic form – a poetics of self defense – would be particularly the province of those groups who are accustomed to being attacked\, to constantly rebutting spoken and unspoken accusations of being overemotional\, hypersensitive\, irrational\, lazy\, unnuanced\, non-objective\, trivial\, overly political\, of always playing the race card\, the gender card\, the sexuality card\, the class card\, pick a card. Proleptic form assumes an audience not of the speaker’s tribe\, potentially a hostile audience\, an audience assumed to be in a dominant position in society\, often a White audience\, a cishet audience etc. I’ll look at some well-known examples\, Phillis Wheatley\, Bhanu Kapil\, Robin Coste Lewis\, Claudia Rankine\, Layli Long Soldier\, and Paul Tran and try to identify certain characteristics of proleptic form.\"\n \nMonica Youn is the author of four poetry collections\, most recently *FROM FROM*\, which won the Anisfield-Wolf Award and was a finalist for the 2023 National Book Award. SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:The Agrochemical Gothic: Pesticide Writing in South America
DESCRIPTION:In this presentation\, Nicolas Campisi (Georgetown University) will discuss the emergence of a new literary genre that he calls the agrochemical gothic. He will talk about two novels: *Fruta podrida* (2006) by the Chilean writer Lina Meruane and *Distancia de rescate* (2014) by the Argentine writer Samanta Schweblin. Nicolas will show that just as agribusiness has obscured the borders between humans and nonhumans through the creation of genetically modified seeds (GMOs)\, these works blur the limits between prose\, poetry\, and theater to depict the invisible and omnipresent violence of pesticide contamination.

SUMMARY:Conference / Symposium:What is Critical Now? Media Studies Between Crisis and Critique
DESCRIPTION:Media today are our situation\; they constitute the fabric of living. But a number of new crises–and subjects–have profoundly shaped the field of media studies\, including an environmental turn in media studies\, elemental media\, ubiquitous computing\, distributed sensing\, and pervasive algorithms and artificial intelligence. Accordingly\, this conference revists and updates Mark B.N. Hansen and WJT Mitchell’s landmark Critical Terms for Media Studies (2010) by accounting for how these new ways of thinking impact the subjective\, aesthetic\, political\, material and economic registers of life and living in the twenty-first century. \n\nIn particular\, the conference will explore the many disciplinary and post-disciplinary transformations in the study of media since its publication (including the moment of “post-critique”). To that end\, the conference will bring together an interdisciplinary set of emerging scholars external to the University of Michigan with UM graduate students and faculty to reconsider the project of media critique today.\n\nThe morning session (10:00 am-11:30 am\, Digital Studies Institute Lab Space) is reserved for a limited-capacity working session with the invited speakers for graduate students involved broadly in the critical study of media. RSVP here: https://myumi.ch/qZkRx\n\nThe afternoon (2:00 pm- 5:00 pm\, Hatcher Graduate Library\, Hatcher Gallery\, Room 100) will consist of four 45-minute “Keyword Panel” sessions\, with a talk by each guest speaker followed by a dialogue with U-M faculty. The panel discussion is open to graduate students\, the Digital Studies Institute\, University of Michigan faculty and students\, and the general public to reflect on post-disciplinary or trans-disciplinary turns within the study of media technology and culture as well as new limits and possibilities for media critique. RSVP here: https://myumi.ch/qZkRx\n\n2:00 - 2:05 pm: Opening Remarks\n\n2:05 - 2:40 pm:	Dr. Thomas Pringle (USC)\, Keyword: “Environment\,” Respondent: Dr. Megan Ewing (Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures)\n\n2:40 - 3:15 pm:	Dr. Hannah Zeavin (UC Berkeley)\, Keyword: “Mother\,” Respondent: Dr. Andreas Gailus (Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures)\n\n3:15 - 3:30 pm: Break \n\n3:30 - 4:05 pm: Dr. Ranjodh Singh Dhaliwal (Basel)\, Keyword: “Concretion\,” Respondent: Dr. Justin Joque (Visualization Librarian\, Social Sciences and Clark Library)\n\n4:05 - 4:40 pm: Dr. Anna Shechtman (Cornell)\, Keyword: “Text\,” Respondent: Dr. Megan Ankerson (Communication & Media)\n\n4:40 - 4:55 pm:	Faculty Lightning Presentations \n\n4:55 - 5:00 pm: Closing Remarks\n\n\nSpeaker Bios:\n\nRanjodh Singh Dhaliwal is an Associate Professor of Digital Humanities\, Artificial Intelligence\, and Media Studies at the University of Basel\, Switzerland. He holds a PhD in English Literature\, with a designated emphasis in Science and Technology Studies\, from University of California\, Davis. Ranjodh’s research\, which traces the aesthetic and political entanglements of our technological cultures\, lies at the intersections of science fiction studies\, critical media theory\, and histories of science and technology.\n\nThomas Patrick Pringle is an Assistant Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California. He received his Ph.D. in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University. Pringle focuses on historical approaches to film and media\, with an emphasis on how media shape how environments are conceived in a given place and time and how technologies interact with physical environments.\n\nAnna Shechtman is an Assistant Professor of Literatures in English\, specializing in media studies and American literature. She is writing a two-volume history of the “media” and “data” concepts in the United States. The first examines the social formations and technologies of production that have allowed \"media\" to incorporate—and perhaps even supersede—the categories of \"art\,\" \"literature\,\" \"communication\,\" and \"culture\" in the second half of the 20th century.\n\nHannah Zeavin is a scholar\, writer\, and editor whose work centers on the history of human sciences (psychoanalysis\, psychology\, and psychiatry)\, the history of technology and media\, feminist science and technology studies\, and media theory. Zeavin is an Assistant Professor of History (Science / North America) in the Department of History and The Berkeley Center for New Media at UC Berkeley.\n\nWe want to make our events accessible to all participants. SUMMARY:Meeting:Lingering in the Wound: Sadism and Confusion as Aesthetic Practice
DESCRIPTION:Lecture: April 3\, 4pm - 6pm\nWorkshop: April 4\, 11:30pm - 1pm\n\nContrasting the logic that wounds only produce suffering and that\, therefore\, the proper approach to trauma is the reparative\, Saketopoulou draws our attention to the concept of traumatophilia\, which conditions a differently textured relation to injury. In this talk\, she turns to art that lingers in the wound not in order to address/heal the injury but to graze against it\, even to risk re-opening it in the interembodied space of the theatre. Such art is not after healing or repair: it risks\, rather\, an exposure to traumatic intensities that cannot be captured through anamnesis\, intensities that have a fugitive relationship to being grasped or understood\, and which\, importantly\, exert a sadistic force on the artist and the audience. That such sadism is also tender is not a contradiction\, but the very condition of a kind of sadism we might think of as aesthetic. Drawing on the first part of the Cadela Força trilogy by Carolina Bianchi and the art collective Cara de Cavalo\, Saketopoulou explores how wound and aesthetics meet through an ethical form of sadistic practice conjugated not through clarity\, understanding\, or catharsis but through the courting of confusion.\n\nAvgi Saketopoulou is a psychoanalyst who lives and works in New York City. She completed her analytic training at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis\, where she also teaches. Her published work addresses issues around trauma\, gender\, and sexuality. She is the author of Sexuality Beyond Consent: Risk\, Race\, Traumatophilia (NYU Press\, 2023) and co-author with Ann Pellegrini of Gender Without Identity (Unconscious in Translation 2023). \n\nThank you to our co-sponsors: \nInstitute for the Humanities\, UMOR\, and LSA DEI Office

The fund was established in memory of Jill\, a resident of Chicago and undergraduate student at U-M who passed away due to injuries from an auto accident. The fund brings a distinguished visitor to campus each year who will appeal to undergraduates interested in the humanities and the arts. The visitor may either be a fellow of the institute for an extended period of time or invited for a few days to present the annual lecture. The visiting fellow will usually interact with undergraduates\, informally and through visits to classes or by other means by which exchanges with undergraduates may be promoted.

SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:Distinguished Poet in Residence Craft Lecture: Your Own Singing School: How to Create Your Own Tradition
Please contact kimjulie@umich.edu with any questions or accommodation needs.\n\nOf his lecture\, Ilya says\, \"How do poets learn in solitude? How do they negotiate their relationships/non-relationships to larger traditions of writers who came before them? How do poets influence each other? What is this conversation across time and space that happens between poets? What is our place in this conversation? What\, indeed\, is that strange thing: an education of a poet? There is no singing school but studying monuments of its own magnificence\, wrote Yeats. So\, in our time together we will look at some very practical devices\, overhear some echoes\, and consider how to discover your own singing school—your own literary tradition—and how to enter and change that tradition. Expect to leave the room with many ideas about how poets learn from other poets and how it can help your own work develop and change into the future.\" \n\nIlya Kaminsky was born in Odessa\, former Soviet Union\, in 1977\, and arrived to the U.S. in 1993\, when his family was granted asylum by the government. SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:EIHS Public Lecture: Ancestors: Where Do We Come From and Why Do We Care?
DESCRIPTION:Format: Lecture followed by Q&A\n\nAbstract: Everyone comes from somewhere. From the doctor’s office to the passport office\, from whom we’ve descended affects the biological\, legal\, and cultural identities of just about everybody in the world today. How did ancestry come to play such a critical role in defining status? The answers lie\, in part\, in the many kinds of genealogical records created and maintained by religious and political authorities over time\, such as royal chronicles\, family trees\, and certificates of birth\, marriage\, and death. Drawing on insights from history\, anthropology\, and genetics\, this lecture will meditate on the human preoccupation with lineage from ancient times to the DNA tests of today.\n\nBiography: Maya Jasanoff is the Coolidge Professor of History at Harvard University. She is the author of three books—\"Edge of Empire\" (2005)\, \"Liberty’s Exiles\" (2011)\, and \"The Dawn Watch\" (2017)—which have won accolades including the National Book Critics Circle Award\, the Cundill Prize in History\, the George Washington Book Prize\, and the Windham-Campbell Prize for Non-Fiction. Jasanoff is currently completing a broad-ranging history of the human preoccupation with ancestry. She writes widely about history\, literature\, and world affairs for publications including The New Yorker and The New York Times.\n\nThis event presented by the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies. It is made possible in part by a generous contribution from Kenneth and Frances Aftel Eisenberg. Additional support from the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies.

SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:Waterline Launch at Literati Bookstore
DESCRIPTION:Fiction at Literati: Aram Mrjoian\n\nTue\, 6/3/2025 - 6:30pm\nLiterati Bookstore\n124 E. Washington St.\nAnn Arbor\, MI 48104\n\nAbout The Book: In this deeply moving debut\, a close-knit Armenian American family grapples with the aftermath of losing one of their own.\n\nOutside Detroit on the island of Gross Ile\, the Kurkjians receive news that Mari\, the eldest of their youngest generation\, has swum into the depths of Lake Michigan with no intent of returning to shore—the consequences of which drag out a deeply rooted pain passed down from generations before.\n\nMore than a century earlier\, Gregor\, the great-grandfather and patriarch of the Kurkjian family\, survived the Armenian Genocide after fighting for his freedom atop Musa Dagh. Decades later and miles away\, Gregor’s epic mythos is inherited by his family as they navigate living in its shadow. As the Kurkjians now struggle with their new\, devastating loss\, secrets and shortcomings rise to the surface\, forcing each relative to decide where their own story fits in the narrative of their family’s fraught history.

SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:How Do You Conceptualize Your Time in Graduate School?: From the Practical to the Philosophical
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are moving directly from your undergraduate degree or returning after some time away\, the first term of graduate school will challenge you to expand skills critical to your success. Two of the most essential skills needed to thrive are reading and writing. This four-part Rackham/Sweetland workshop series will showcase reading and writing practices for new graduate students that will inform your approaches to reading and writing through the course of your graduate career.\n\nThis workshop will address time management strategies\, and effective habits and motivation for early graduate school success.\n\nTime management and productivity may not seem like an exciting topic\, but harnessing concrete tactics and strategies for how to maintain autonomy and agency over your own schedule is a crucial skill in graduate school. You will find yourself juggling multiple\, and often competing\, priorities– and many of them have to do with writing… lots\, and lots of writing! This 50-minute Rackham/Sweetland workshop will address time management strategies across scales (from pomodoros to physical planners to semester and year-long planning)\, as well as considerations regarding habits and motivation. The earlier you find what works for you\, the more you can tailor your schedule to fit your life instead of the other way around!\n\nRegister at https://sessions.studentlife.umich.edu/track/event/session/96936

SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:Better Writing\, Less Waste
DESCRIPTION:In his book *Total Garbage: How We Can Fix Our Waste and Heal Our World*\, journalist Edward Humes employs engaging investigative storytelling to link our waste crisis to bigger issues in the humanities like ethics\, community\, culture\, and our relationships with each other and the environment. He'll talk about his writing process and how the everyday choices we make and the systems we rely on contribute to the overwhelming problem of waste. \n\nEdward Humes is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and narrative nonfiction writer who spends months embedded in the lives of his subjects in order to investigate and research his incredible stories about the justice system\, science\, nature\, and sustainability. His seventeen books include *Door to Door: The Magnificent\, Maddening\, Mysterious World of Transportation*\, *Mississippi Mud*\, *No Matter How Loud I Shout: A Year in the Life of Juvenile Court*\, and *Garbology: Our Dirty Love Affair with Trash*.\n\nIn *Garbology*\, the prequel to *Total Garbage*\, Humes focused on what we throw away – and how we are so much more “trashy” than we imagined. Humes’s message of reducing and reinventing our approach to what we roll to the curb each week resonated strongly with student and sustainability-minded audiences\, who selected Garbology as a “One Book” community read over 30 times\, including at colleges such as Georgia Institute of Technology\, California State University Northridge\, Rowan University\, University of Central Florida\, and such cities as Portland\, OR\, Pittsburgh\, PA\, Palos Verdes\, California\, and Atlanta\, GA.\n\nNow\, Humes returns with *Total Garbage* to tackle the wider world of waste: in which our fossil fuel power plants squander two-thirds of our energy\, our gasoline-powered cars waste 80 percent of our fuel\, and 40 percent of our food—and all the energy\, water\, chemicals and fertilizer used to produce it—goes to waste. From Georgia to Minnesota\, Maine to California\, Humes found the game-changers and ordinary people tackling this waste and the environmental catastrophes it drives—all while saving (and even making) money doing it.\n\nHumes is also a popular true crime writer. His bestseller\, *Mississippi Mud*\, a murder mystery set in a historic Gulf Coast city steeped in corruption\, is currently being developed as a series by Immersive Pictures. *Burned: A Story of Murder and the Crime That Wasn’t*\, is a gripping investigative narrative into a young mother’s sentencing for killing her three children in a house fire\, and the flawed\, so-called “forensic fire science” behind it. Humes’s investigative work in *Burned *helped lead to her release and took readers inside the world of the California Innocence Project that challenged the conviction. His latest in the genre\, *The Forever Witness*\, is about the disappearance and murder of a young couple\, a 32-year-old cold-case investigation\, and the emergence of a revolutionary new crime-fighting science\, genetic genealogy. It’s also being developed as a documentary streaming series.\n\nHumes received his Pulitzer Prize for his newspaper coverage of the military\, and a PEN Award for Nonfiction for *No Matter How Loud I Shout: A Year in the Life of Juvenile Court*. He has taught writing\, journalism\, and literary nonfiction at graduate and undergraduate levels\, and has written for *The New York Times*\, *The Los Angeles Times*\, *Sierra Magazine*\, and *Los Angeles Magazine*. A graduate of Hampshire College\, he lives in Southern California with his family\, two rescued greyhounds\, and a rescue collie.

SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:How to Make Revision Count: Revising Practices for Graduate Students
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are moving directly from your undergraduate degree or returning after some time away\, the first term of graduate school will challenge you to expand skills critical to your success. Two of the most essential skills needed to thrive are reading and writing. This four-part Rackham/Sweetland workshop series will showcase reading and writing practices for new graduate students that will inform your approaches to reading and writing through the course of your graduate career.\n\nThis workshop will introduce new graduate students to revising practices to advance their academic writing.\n\nThe most critical phase in the writing process is also the most mysterious and least taught. Revision is especially challenging for first-year graduate writers learning to write extended academic arguments. What do academic writers do when they revise their work? How does an early draft become a polished\, publishable article? This workshop will demystify the role of revision in academic writing – to advance and refine our good ideas! – and provide strategies to help you build quality revision into your writing practice. You will expand your revising practices and elevate your writing skills for graduate school.\n\nRegister at https://sessions.studentlife.umich.edu/track/event/session/96939

SUMMARY:Presentation:Peer Writing Program Info Session
DESCRIPTION:Information session for students interested in applying to the Peer Writing Program.\n\nThe Sweetland Peer Writing Program provides undergraduate students from across the University with an opportunity to assist fellow U-M undergrads with their writing. Sweetland-trained peer writing consultants offer consulting at our Peer Writing Center.\n\nThe Peer Writing Program is an excellent way for undergraduate students from across the University to get involved in consulting with their peers about written communication. Becoming a writing consultant gives you the opportunity to work with others on their writing\, enjoying conversations about interesting topics\, helping to solve writing challenges\, and supporting effective writing processes. Once writing consultants enter the job market or go to graduate school\, many of them find that the program has given them important experience relating to people\, working collaboratively\, and engaging in rigorous thinking.\n\nApplications are accepted once a year in the Fall term. Accepted students enroll in Writing 300: Seminar in Peer Writing Consultation the following Winter which trains them to become theoretically informed and well-practiced Peer Writing Consultants. Students who excel in Writing 300 are invited to join the Peer Writing Program as paid consultants and enroll in WRITING 301: Practicum in Peer Writing Consultation. After completing 301\, students may be asked to continue on as consultants.\n\nPlease note: In order to apply\, students must have completed or be currently enrolled in a first-year college writing course. Students may also apply if they obtained first-year college writing exemption for credits already earned when they enrolled at U-M.

SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Writing Literature Reviews
DESCRIPTION:How do I turn this never-ending tangle of literature into a neat\, polished review? In this interactive workshop\, we'll cover laying the foundation for your scholarly literature review and then taking that first critical step towards composition. We'll crowdsource tips for generating a source list\, organizing it as you go\, and starting to extract themes and ideas for section headings from your reading library. We'll also cover the basics of structure to reduce the barrier for writing your first sections. Whether you're halfway through or just starting out\, you'll have a chance to take the next step on organizing\, defining your purpose\, or revising your argumentation. This presentation will focus on reviews in the sciences\, but concepts are generalizable to all literature reviews.\n\nPresented by Jimmy Brancho\, Sweetland Center for Writing Faculty\n\nRegistration required. See link.\n\nFood and coffee/tea provided. Please bring a water bottle to fill if needed.

SUMMARY:Film Screening:The Watermelon Woman
DESCRIPTION:The wry\, incisive debut feature by Cheryl Dunye gave cinema something bracingly new and groundbreaking: a vibrant representation of Black lesbian identity by a Black lesbian filmmaker. Dunye stars as Cheryl\, a video-store clerk and aspiring director whose interest in forgotten Black actresses leads her to investigate an obscure 1930s performer known as the Watermelon Woman\, whose story proves to have surprising resonances with Cheryl’s own life as she navigates a new relationship.\n\nThe film screening will be followed by a community conversation with professors SaraEllen Strongman (Afroamerican and African Studies)\, Lydia Kelow-Bennett (Afroamerican and African Studies)\, and graduate student Sydney Tunstall (English and Women's and Gender Studies). Moderated by Symone Campbell.\n\nFree and open to the public. No ticket necessary. *First 20 attendees receive a free popcorn!*

SUMMARY:Film Screening:Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire
DESCRIPTION:Eighty years after his liberation from Buchenwald\, we seek to understand the man behind Elie Wiesel's searing and widely read memoir Night. Told largely through his own words and eloquent voice\, Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire seeks to penetrate to the heart of the known and unknown Elie Wiesel (1928-2016) — his passions\, his conflicts and his legacy as one of the most public survivors of the Holocaust. With unique access to personal archives\, original interviews\, and employing hand-painted animation\, the film illuminates Wiesel’s biography as a survivor\, writer\, teacher and public figure.\n\nAfter the film\, stay for a discussion between one of the film’s producers\, Patti Askwith Kenner\, and Wallenberg Institute director Jeffrey Veidlinger.\n\nCo-presented by the University Musical Society (UMS)\, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of the University of Michigan\, and the Michigan Theater.

SUMMARY:Lecture / Discussion:Jewish Journalism in Dark Times
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a roundtable discussion exploring the transformation of Jewish journalism during the interwar years (1918–1939) and World War II\, an era of profound upheaval. Panelists will analyze how Jewish newspapers and journals became vital platforms for political\, literary\, and cultural engagement. The discussion will highlight dramatic shifts in journalistic practices\, including evolving editorial strategies\, reporting methods\, and technological innovations in format and distribution and the transnational and transcultural elements that come to the fore during that time. Panelists will also examine the economic pressures and opportunities that shaped the Jewish press\, and consider the influence and role of Jews as journalists within the broader media landscape.\n\nGilad Halpern\, journalist and media historian\, draws on recent doctoral research on The Palestine Post amid imperial decline and rising nationalism\, bridging professional and scholarly perspectives. Naomi Brenner explores entertainment fiction in the Hebrew and Yiddish press\, focusing on the aesthetics and politics of the roman-feuilleton as a transnational literary form.\nMatthew Handelman investigates the cultural politics of German Jewish intellectuals and the primacy of culture in political discourse from the Weimar Republic onward.\n\nCentral to the conversation is the role of Jewish periodicals as spaces for cultural expression\, literary experimentation\, and political debate. These publications not only documented Jewish life\, but actively shaped identities\, fostered transnational dialogue\, and provided forums for writers\, artists\, and intellectuals grappling with questions of survival and belonging. This roundtable offers timely insights into journalism during a time of crisis\, illuminating enduring questions about Jews and media.

SUMMARY:Livestream / Virtual:Building Industry Partnerships Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:Federal funding trends\, including from NSF\, DOE and ARPA agencies\, indicate increasing interest in translational research – supporting the pathways for fundamental discoveries to have broader societal\, economic or public impact. New funding programs might require researchers to demonstrate their research impact at the proposal stage through established partnerships with companies that signal market interest or investment\, formal commitments like licensing agreements\, and/or evidence of technology readiness levels. Researchers who build these industry partnerships in advance will have a critical edge in a competitive funding landscape.\n\nThe Office of Research Development will host a webinar series for U-M researchers that explains why and how to build industry partnerships that advance mutual R&D goals. Webinars will take place noon-1:30 pm each day\; calendar invites will be sent upon registration. \n\nFebruary 25: Discovery to Innovation - Gain a practical framework for deciding when to engage industry\, how to demonstrate impact credibly and which funding mechanisms align with research maturing and scholarly goals.\nMarch 26: Industry Engagement for Faculty: From Early Signals to Funded Partnerships - Learn meaningful engagement strategies across the research lifecycle\, emphasizing alignment with academic incentives\, research integrity and appropriate funding mechanisms. \nApril 9: Building Industry Partnerships that Last: Whom to Talk to\, What to Ask - Learn how to identify the right industry counterparts\, structure early conversations to surface meaningful research and translational opportunities and set expectations that can evolve into sustained collaboration. \nContact RD-Support@umich.edu with questions.
