SUMMARY:Social / Informal Gathering:Student Art Meetup: Rocky Horror Picture Show
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in going to an event on Halloween but you don't want to go alone? Are you someone who enjoys smaller groups to get to know people? Then our Art Meetup Events are the way to go! Join us on Halloween night for a shadow cast performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show put on by RC Players! Students will be performing the show in front of the screen while dancing and acting along with the iconic 1975 film. Dressing up in Rocky Horror-themed attire or wearing a Halloween costume is not required\, but definitely encouraged! \n\nWe will meet outside the Keene Theater in East Quad at 6 pm\, as there will likely be a line outside the theater before the show. Information on how to find the theater can be found here: https://lsa.umich.edu/rc/reserve-a-room-/the-keene-theater.html\n\nSpace is limited and registration is required to join the Art Meetup.\n\nContent advisory: Rocky Horror Picture Show is rated R. It includes nudity\, sex\, sexual coercion\, and violence. While a very important part of queer film history\, it also includes outdated language regarding trans identities\, which some may find triggering. This event involves audience participation and will be loud and interactive – earplugs will be provided to Meetup attendees!\n\nArt Meetups are student-led excursions to explore the arts on campus and in Ann Arbor - all while giving you a chance to meet your peers who share similar interests! From local artist markets to performances to hands on artmaking\, Art Meetups have something for all interests.
