DESCRIPTION:Earlier this spring\, the 2022-2023 Engage Detroit Workshops grant program selected six project teams currently working with Detroit-based organizations and leaders to lead a series of workshops highlighing the advancement of partnerships and collaborations between U-M and Detroit. \n\nOn Thursday August 11th\, workshop leaders Greg McKenzie and Korey Batey will lead the very first session of the series\, Activating Alleys\, Lots and Hubs: Local Lessons in Grassroots Innovation: Engaged Detroit Workshop at Alkebu-Lan Village African Cultural Festival.
