DESCRIPTION:The PMF Program will host a series of info sessions for graduate students who are interested in learning more about the PMF Program\, applying to the upcoming 2024 application\, and launching a career in the Federal Government. The PMF Program is the Federal Government’s premier leadership development program for advanced degree holders across all academic disciplines and from all segments of society. It is a two-year fellowship at a federal agency that is full-time with full salary and benefits\, leadership and technical development opportunities\, and it can lead to a permanent career in the Federal Government.\n\nThis session will be open toall academic disciplines with panelists who are former/current fellows from Asian American\, Native American\, and Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI)\, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)\, and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI). It will provide a general overviewof the PMF Program\, initial details about the 2024 application cycle (expected to launch this September)\, and a Q&A Session.\n\nTo be eligible toapply to the PMF Program when the application launches this fall\, you should be going into the final year of your advanced degree program (expecting to complete all requirements by 8/31/2024)\, or you have finished your advanced degree in the two years prior to the application launch.\n\nThis session will NOT be recorded for later publishing or viewing\, and there will be a maximum capacity of 500 participants.
