DESCRIPTION:Have you heard a cardinal sing yet or noticed any new activity with local woodpeckers? It’s February\, and the days are beginning to be noticeably longer\, and some birds are becoming more active. Let’s head outdoors for a winter walk\, followed by hot cocoa and tea\, to learn about late winter strategies for animal survival. Due to limited outdoor light\, this walk will begin at 5:00 PM.\n---\nMatthaei Botanical Gardens is hosting free guided nature walks on select Wednesdays and Sundays.  These walks are FREE\, no registration is required. Wonder Walks are designed for all ages to inspire curiosity and learning from each other through activities that model curiosity and honor nature. If we have a sizeable mixed-age group\, we may separate into two sets to offer the same content at different levels of engagement.
