DESCRIPTION:It is often said that the ancient Egyptians had no word for “art.” But does this mean they did not have art? Definitely not! In this tour\, we will look at artifacts representing Egyptian art from the Predynastic period until the Graeco-Roman period. We will see pottery\, statues\, jewelry\, reliefs\, and more and will consider what these artifacts tell us about the ancient Egyptians.\n\nThis event is free and open to all visitors.
