DESCRIPTION:Eva Albalghiti performs on the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Carillon\, an instrument of 60 bells with the lowest bell (bourdon) weighing 6 tons.\n\nThirty-minute recitals are performed on the Lurie Carillon every weekday that classes are in session. During these recitals\, visitors may take the elevator to level 2 to view the largest bells\, or to level 3 to see the carillonist performing. (Visitors subject to acrophobia are recommended to visit level 2 only.) An optional spiral stairway between levels 2 and 3 allows for up-close views of some of the largest bells.

DESCRIPTION:You can’t start networking unless you know where to begin! For many international students\, the idea of approaching and interacting with professionals in the U.S. can feel intimidating — and that’s okay. In this interactive workshop\, you’ll learn practical strategies forfinding and connecting with contacts\, as well as how to conduct informational interviews. These conversations let you explore careers and companies by hearing directly from professionals about their day-to-day work — without the pressure of a formal job interview.Networking is all about building genuine relationships\, and often those connections can lead to exciting opportunities down the road. This session is open to all students.
