However\, this Virtual CLIC Summer Series workshop is open to all attendees of any race or gender interested in summer learning. M-CLIC...Spark The Mind That Change The World!M-CLIC is funded through the Morris Hood\, Jr. Educator Development (MHED) program\, created by the Michigan State Legislature in 1998 as part of the larger King-Chávez-Parks Initiative. The legislative intent is to increase the number of underrepresented students\, especially males\, who enroll in and complete K-12 teacher education programs at the baccalaureate level at state-approved teacher education institutions. The MHED program targets African American\, Latino\, and Native American students who historically have been underrepresented in K-12 teacher education program.
