DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in experiencing Detroit and gaining insight into professional roles at leading companies? Spend a day with Little Caesars and Slalom Consulting through the University Career Center Immersion experience on Tuesday\, October 15th! This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff\, learn about different internships and jobs\, and participate in interactive activities. During the immersion students will have the opportunity to engage with the following employers: Little Caesars is a Detroit founded national pizza chainwith restaurants in all 50 states as well as 27 countries and territories. Slalom Consulting is a next-generation professional services company creating value at the intersection of business\, technology\, and humanity. They have provided services for blue chip customers across industries including IGM Financial\, Carhartt\, and Feeding America. Applications will open on Monday\, September 16th and close on Sunday\, September 29th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly &amp\; the application may close early! Dr. Elzada Clover contained multitudes\; she was a brazen botanist\, the first female University of Michigan botany professor\, the first female Matthaei Botanical Gardens curator\, the first scientist to document the flora of the remote Grand Canyon\, and along with her graduate assistant Lois Jotter\, they were first non-native woman to raft the entire length of the Colorado. This exhibit at Matthaei Botanical Gardens explores her remarkable journey and enduring contributions.
