DESCRIPTION:Join Michigan Movement Performance Projects (M2P2) for a culminating performance showcasing the powerful work created and performed by dancers during this four-week professional intensive. Designed and produced by Shannon Gillen\, M2P2 offers gifted dancers ages 18+ rigorous physical training\, professional creation and performance opportunities\, compositional mentorship\, auditions\, and direct networking with active dance companies across the U.S.\n\nChampioning Midwest talent and redefining accessible professional dance training\, M2P2 prepares artists to thrive in today’s evolving dance landscape.\n\nIn 2026\, participants will work alongside internationally renowned dance theater company VIM VIGOR\, touring company FLOCKWORKS\, and choreographer Marion Castaillet.

This exhibit highlights Detroit’s Greek-American community and urban scenery during the late 20th century. Let the vivid watercolor paintings and expressive sketches transport you to a Greektown of the past\, and learn more about Sam Karres’ life as an artist.\n\nFeaturing works from the Sam Karres Archive\, 1955-2012\, held by the University of Michigan Library's Special Collection Research Center.
