DESCRIPTION:Anchored by a residency with award-winning composer and Michigan alum Clarice Assad\, the Symphony Band performs a collection of music that showcases dynamic emotional contrast and drama. One of the 2024 Concerto Competition winners\, saxophonist Leo Schlaifer\, will perform Joel Love's beautiful Concerto entitled *Solace*.
